1. Detailed description of goods and / or services.

Cnotta is a business in the retail  industry that manufactures and sell sandals.

2. Delivery policy.

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2  days and delivery confirmed by way Waybill number via Skynet.

3. Export restriction (Optional)

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

4. Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by Cnotta is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Cnotta will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10 % administration fee.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair / replace it, or credit your account, subject to the below terms. This Policy applies to products bought from Cnotta Website itself. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

Preparing your products for a return:
To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible you are responsible for the following when returning your products;

  • package your products safely and securely for protection during transit,
  • clearly mark your order number on the outside of the parcel; and
  • include all accessories and parts that were sold with the product.

Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.

1: Unwanted Product or wrong size product
You can return an unwanted product (pick-up and delivery charge apply), provided:

  • it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached,
  • it is not missing any accessories or parts,
  • you log a return on the Website within 7 days of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product. After 30 days, you can only return a product if it is defective.

2: Defective Product
You can return a defective product to us at no charge, provided:

  • It is not missing any accessories or parts,
  • You log a return on the Website within 3 months,
  • It is not a wrong size ordered as our size chart is comprehensive and  we consider a wrong size ordered and an subsequent exchange and delivery, your responsibility.

3: Products damaged on delivery
Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery / collection, please notify us within 7 days of such delivery / collection by logging a return on the Website.

We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair / replace the product as soon as possible (if such repair is possible/ we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement) or credit your account with the purchase price of the product (or refund you if that is your preference).

4: Standard Warranty
If you have received a product which turns out to be defective or otherwise of poor quality, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect or poor quality, but in any event within 3 months after delivery / collection of the product.

You can do so by logging a return on the Website, and we will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will at your choice repair / replace the product (if such repair is possible / we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement) or credit your account with the purchase price of the product (or refund you if that is your preference). If the repair / replacement takes longer than 21 days, we will get in touch with you to see if you would rather receive a credit / refund.

5: Charges and refunds
If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and only to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item.

If you return a product that does not comply with this Policy, you may be liable to reimburse Cnotta for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.

Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT will be refunded to your account

5. Customer Privacy Policy

Cnotta shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 6. Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Cnotta bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

7. Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Cnotta via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

8. Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Cnotta separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

10. Responsibility

Cnotta takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods

11. Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Cnotta chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

12. Variation

Cnotta may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
